One of the prominent students on the Yellville-Summit football team, Kymball Duffie, died in a car accident on 9-11. Kymbal was a junior and his younger brother, a freshman, is in Talent Search. His mother is the counselor at Yellville-Summit middle school and I work with her for the ETS program. The school, town, and family are all devastated so I would ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Back at it...
It's September already and you know what that means? Yes, the 1st ETS meeting of the year is coming soon. I'm looking forward to seeing each of you and can't wait to get started! From cultural events to college tours, this year is going to be action packed! Over the summer, the requirements for the Arkansas Challenge Scholarship and other grants changed. But not to worry! We will cover all these important changes during our meetings. See you soon! ;)

Welcome Back!
I hope you all had a great summer. I’m looking forward to this new school year to get lots of good things done. I will be at Bruno-Pyatt in the morning on August 27. So far that’s the only visit planned for August, but stay tuned for more details.
