Educational Talent Search (ETS) 3 Cs (Colleges, Careers, and Cash -Financial Aid)
SENIOR CHECKLIST
Starting at the beginning of your Senior Year - End of August ( 2019  )
Register for the ACT or Compass Accuplacer Test and take it (Use a fee waiver for te ACT  if you still have one avalible.)
Start and keep searching for private scholarships - (Work 1-3 hours a week in your search)

Request information from potential colleges, register online to receive materials
Check Deadlines for both College Applications and each College's financial aid awards - (Especially 4 Year Colleges)
Check for scholarships at colleges in which you are interested - (Watch for deadlines to apply)
Attend college preview days at their campuses as available
If your high school has a college day you can use, plan ahead and use it wisely.
Apply for admissions to the top 3 colleges that you are interested in, NOW - (at least 2)
Develop a resume for grades 8 through now and continue to update. Include things such as community service, academic awards/honors, offices held, summer programs, church activities, etc. This will be used when applying to colleges and for scholarships.

Attend my high school's Financial Aid Night with my parents or guardians
Ark Student Loan Authority at www.asla.info - (Apply for a scholarship at this site)	Click Here
After October 1st, ( 2019 ) and you will need tax information for year before: (2018)
Attend my high school's Financial Aid Night with my parents or guardians
Get a FSA ID for filling out the FAFSA at:  https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid  (One parent/guardian will also need a FSA ID. )
Fill out the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ using  your parent / guardian's (And yours, if you worked year before last.) income tax information for year before ( 2018  )	Click Here
Apply for the Arkansas Academic Scholarship (Lottery) by                        June 1st ( 2020  ) of your senior year,   Or loose it!
